Full Day & Half Day Options

Children participating in Silver Camp will need an annual submission of immunization records from your health care provider, per New York State Department of Health.

Teens
Teen Program
Facilitated by the Lutheran Summer Gathering, the weeklong teen program is offered for young adults entering 7th grade through high school. The group meets daily for recreation and faith formation activities, exploring campus together. Individuals, as well as church youth groups, are welcome to join the teen activities for the week

Adults

Adult Learning
Adults have the opportunity to explore a variety of engaging classes and conversations throughout the week, led by thoughtful faculty from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. To learn more about this year’s offerings, including detailed course descriptions and faculty bios, visit the Faculty & Classes section.

Worship
At the Lutheran Summer Gathering, worship isn't confined to four walls. God shows up all over Silver Bay — and the settings are nothing short of spectacular.
Come as you are worship opportunities include:

Weekday morning Matins in the breathtaking Helen Hughes Chapel
Where the beauty of sacred architecture and the quiet of the early hour create the perfect space for prayer, reflection, praise, and community to start the day. On Sunday, the full gathering comes together for a festive Worship Service with Holy Communion in the historic Auditorium — a joyful celebration of Word and Sacrament shared in community.
As evening falls, worshippers make their way to Slim Point
On the shores of Lake George for Vespers, where the gentle rhythm of the waves and the shimmer of the water create a beautiful, serene and sacred backdrop for evening song and prayer. There is simply no more fitting church space than the lake itself at dusk. The week is crowned by a beloved Thursday Evening Candlelight service, a tender and memorable occasion that glows with the warmth of shared faith and the light that no darkness can overcome.

From chapel to shoreline, from sunrise to candlelight, worshipping with the LSG at Silver Bay is an experience that nourishes the soul and draws the whole community closer to God and to one another.
